This particular breed is a mixture of Old English Terriers and also Old English Bulldogs. Breeders needed an interesting combination. If you are interested in the lifespan of a Blue Nose Pitbull you will want to know about methods you can use to help him live as long as possible. These methods are effective and you can use them on all dog breeds but with modification! The explanations below are completely focused on Blue nose Pitbulls.

1. Food

First, you will have to feed your pet properly. This means that you will need to provide him between 900 and 1800 calories per day considering the weight is between 30 and 60 pounds. Male dogs are bigger so they eat more. Dry kibble is the best food in this scenario. If your pet looks fat and you can’t feel his ribs, he is truly obese. This is not good for any dog and especially not for Blue Nose Pitbulls.

2. Physical activity

These are active dogs. You must provide them 60+ minutes of physical activity per day. Due to their intelligence, you should play fetch. This is the best game for this purpose and it will allow your pet to run, jump and use all the calories. As you can deduce here, these dogs don’t like to sit all day in the house. If you don’t have the time to play with them, you will need another breed.

Blue Nose Pitbulls love to dig in the backyard. They can do this every single day and they need this! If possible, allow them to do it. The natural instincts will be under control and you will have a happy dog.

3. Regular checks

You know by now that this breed does have a few health issues. That’s why it is mandatory to take him to a vet on a regular basis. He can examine your dog and make sure the health is at the highest level possible. Even if there is some health issue, a vet can start treatment as soon as possible, which will make it more effective and prevent any complications. This is important for all dogs but even more for this breed.

4. Pay attention to who you are getting the puppy

One of the biggest issues when it comes to Blue Nose Pitbulls is a breeder. They are known to use improper techniques, poor specimens, and more. Due to the small gene pool, this can cause a lot of issues. A lot of the health problems will present due to poor breeding and not something else. That’s why it is mandatory to have a puppy from a breeder who knows what to do and will provide you with a healthy dog.

The Final Word

You know all about Blue Nose Pitbull lifespan and how you can help your pet live as long as possible. These are great dogs. They are not as aggressive as you may think. They like families, small children, and playing with the owners. In general, if you have the time to spend with your pet, this breed is just phenomenal.
