Despite this, they’re actually trained as hunting companions because of their incredible sight. They need a lot of exercise in fenced-in areas and are pretty independent by nature, so they are therefore rather difficult to train. (That is, they tend to ignore you a lot.)

Basset Hounds
Basset Hounds are also notorious for being dumb because they can run away with themselves a bit. They’re obsessed with sniffing and can get a little bit lost in the moment when they’re found a trail they want to follow.
They’re pretty big dopes at heart but are super loveable too. They tend to be difficult to train because they were bred as hunting dogs and therefore fail to follow commands pretty often.
Beagles
